On this day the whole Church unites in prayer and fundraising to support Catholic communities living in poverty, violence and oppression across the world.
“Celebrating a Synod,” said Pope Francis, “means walking on the same road, together.” He characterised the Synod process as one of encounter, listening, and discernment.

Representing all displaced children, many separated from their families, the 3.5m puppet is travelling over 8,000km embodying the urgent message “Don’t forget about us”.
