Overview:
This session will provide attendees with an overview of the requirements of the Admissions Code in relation to school admissions. This legal perspective will be set against the model documentation provided by the CES that the diocese has asked all schools to use.

Who is this training suitable for?
This training will be very useful for Clergy, Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers, Governors, those involved in the administration of admissions.

Programme:
The training session will be facilitated by Theresa Kerr, a Partner at the legal firm, Winckworth Sherwood. The session is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of the admissions process and associated legal requirements. The training will encourage reflection, interaction, discussion and the sharing of best practice.

Members of the BDES Team will also be in attendance to support discussion and to provide a diocesan perspective where necessary.
