Fr Adrian Graffy, Scripture scholar and member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission, offers a series of talks designed specifically for those who have the task of reader/lector in the Catholic liturgy. You can attend free in person, or watch via live stream. The talks will also be available on-line at www.whatgoodnews.org

Talk 2: ‘A richer table of God’s word’

The Second Vatican Council decreed that the provision of Scripture in the Church’s liturgy was to be more comprehensive and more abundant. In this second talk, Fr Adrian explains how the readings from all parts of Scripture are arranged in the ‘order of readings’. The talk is both for readers, and for all who cherish the Liturgy of the Word at Mass.
