Young people from across the Diocese are warmly invited to join the BCYS for February Youth Mass, on Thursday 2 February at Brentwood Cathedral.
Pilgrimages and events coordinator Gabriella Skinner says: “We will be joined by some fantastic speakers from the Southend SVP and Caritas Diocese of Brentwood to help inspire us on some charitable giving as we begin to prepare for the season of Lent.
“Youth Mass is always a joyful evening, where we welcome young Catholics from many different schools and parishes around the Diocese to come together and celebrate their faith. We are very lucky to have these fantastic organisations with us for February and, if that isn’t enough, there will also be pizza and refreshments available for everyone attending – and all of this is completely free of charge!”
The event begins with refreshments and speakers from 6pm in the Cathedral Parish Hall. Fr Matthew Bemand-Qureshi will celebrate Mass at 7.30 in the Cathedral itself. Please pass on the information to any young person who may be interested – and contact your parish to connect with others attending.
