Dina escaped to the US from Iran at eight years old with her mother and went on to earn a Masters from Harvard.
Calais Light is a small charity working to support refugees living in squalid conditions along the coast of Northern France. People have many pre-conceptions about refugees; the chance to hear directly from this author, as well as to ask her questions, may help in dispelling some myths.
