Bishop Alan has recorded a New Year message which has been broadcast on BBC Essex. In it, he talks of the difficult times we have all endured.
“We think of families, we think of young people, students and our elderly people. We think of so many people who struggled last year and we hope for better things in this coming year. So as the days get longer, as the evenings get lighter, I wish you a very happy, prosperous and blessed New Year.”
