Bishop Alan joined St Mary Mother Of God parish, Hornchurch on the 3rd Sunday of Lent for both morning Masses. He confirmed 55 young people from the parish at the 11.30am Mass. During the 9.30am Mass Bishop Alan reminded parishioners that during Lent we can look to God and look to ourselves for a happy and blessed Lent. He told the congregation: “Pray to God, have self discipline and be generous to others.”
