The Bible in English
This study day with Professor John Morrill will consider the translation of the Bible into English, with a focus on the Bible as a weapon in Reformation England, and bring the story up to the present day.
Professor John Morrill is a permanent deacon in the Diocese of East Anglia and Director of Ongoing Formation for the Clergy. Until December 2013 Deacon John was Professor of British and Irish History at the University of Cambridge and he is a Life Fellow of Selwyn College, Cambridge.
All are welcome. Admission is free but booking essential by email [email protected]. Coffee will be available from 10.30 am. Please bring your own lunch. Local eateries available.
